Rare stylish chairs, a set of eight, in ash, back rest with details of mother-of-pearl and ebony. Attributed to Swedish designer and interior architect Erik Chambert (1907-1988). Swedish Modern, mid-1900s. Seatings with rattan. Beautiful, straight geometric lines, sculptural pieces which stand out for their sleek design and made by true workmanship expertis. Mainly wooden joints, inlay of mother-of-pearl and high-quality hardwoods was repeated in many of Chamberts furniture designs. In good condition, smaller signs of age and wear. One seat has been replaced with new rattan and few seats (4) have been replaced partially with new rattan by professional weaver. The other seats are original in nice condition.
